Eagle Hawk Resort $3 Million Renovation Complete
Just recently, the Rydges Eagle Hawk Resort completed a $3 million renovation. Dear Mrs O'Neil
I appreciate you bringing to our attention your feedback with regards to your recent stay at Rydges Eagle Hawk Resort and also discussing on the phone with my Operations Manager the issues associated with your accommodation booking. The responses our guests provide us with are an invaluable source of information and allow us to improve our standards and service. Thank you for advising us of this as it gives us the opportunity to review where we as a team are not exceeding our guest's expectations.
I can not explain why you were not provided with the room type you requested and apologise for this. As stated on our website, the room type provided is one of our group rooms which can also cater for large families and has only received minor attention during the refurbishment process. All other accommodation rooms have been fully refurbished and the feedback is fantastic.
I have communicated your concerns to my team. They have reviewed and will ensure action taken to rectify the issues you have presented to us.
As a small token of good faith, we have credited the nights accommodation in this room to you. I also hope we would have the opportunity to take care of you on your next visit to Canberra so that we may be able to turn your negative stay into a positive one.
Mrs O'Neill, I trust you get the opportunity to visit us again. From our part we will continue to strive for excellence. I only wish these renovations had been complete when we visited on 8/01/08 to 10/01/08 because our conditions were terrible! Having booked in Oct. and we were not given accom. that we booked or was worth the $170 we paid per nt. Doors with handles missing, bugs and rubbish in the room and just unclean conditions, plus no working air conditioning for 2 nights. Management has been advised but we have heard nothing as yet.
